St. Louis, Missouri: Advanced Software Designs, the leading developer of formula management and regulatory compliance software to the mid- and upper-tier process manufacturing market, today announced a major new agreement with SC Johnson Polymers to license its flagship software, ProductVision™ Formula Management.

SC Johnson Polymer is a division of S. C. Johnson Commercial Markets, Inc. and manufactures and markets water-based acrylic emulsion polymers and resins for the printing, packaging, coating and adhesive industries. SC Johnson Polymers has operations throughout the U.S. and in many countries around the world.

"ProductVision will enable the chemists at S.C. Johnson polymer to quickly respond to new and evolving customer, product, and market demands. Through the use of the Formula Management Module, R & D users will have access to information from their colleagues throughout the company. Teamwork, collaboration, and productivity can be at the forefront of their business practices now," explained Ted Pliakos, VP Sales for Advanced Software Designs.

In addition to ProductVision Formula Management Module, SC Johnson Polymer will also incorporate ProductVision Audit Tracking Module. This module allows each user to view comprehensive changes within ProductVision, attribution of those modifications, and a drill-down capability that provides a project development trail throughout the entire product's evolution.

SC Johnson Polymer joins a long list of process manufacturers in a variety of industries that utilize the ProductVision Formula Management system, including Pepsi, ICI Coatings, Sherwin-Williams, Eastman Chemical, and Rust-Oleum.
