DSM announces new production facility for dried inactive yeast

The new facilities are equipped with the latest production and quality control technologies, including a state-of-the-art air treatment system. The facility is designed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice standards in which HACCP principles are implemented.
Engevita® dried inactive yeast is a natural and highly versatile specialty ingredient. Providing mild savoury taste with yeast or roasted profiles and a range of nutritive factors, the product serves as a flavor enhancer, flavoring carrier, nutritional adjunct, and fermentation ingredient in a broad range of applications. Engevita® is widely used in vegetarian foods, health foods, processed meats, snacks, seasonings and pet foods.
