The Bag Samplir is an accessory designed to provide accurate analysis by transmission through samples contained in a polyethylene bag. The accessory holds the bag in the IR beam between two windows. One of the windows is movable for loading and pressing the sample to the right thickness. The path between the windows is adjustable from zero to 25 mm.
The Bag Samplir fits in the Arid-Zone Sample Compartment of the MB Series FTIR spectrometers.
Transmission is the best sampling technique for both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Pastes, slurries, emulsions and sticky samples are now easy to analyze.
