EDC was established in 1953. It is a US company serving the enzyme needs of the food and food related markets in the Americas and the Pacific Rim.

EDC is the largest producer of Purified Papain preparations in North America. Enzymes are available as concentrated products or blended powder or liquid preparations. The blended products are generally designed to meet specific customer requirements such a controlled dosage or form.
