“At Alden’s, we make ice cream using ingredients you can feel great about eating,” said Michelle Hunt, vice president of marketing for Alden’s Organic. “All of the delicious mix-ins we use – icing, fudge and cookie dough – are as simple, clean and delicious as our organic milk and cream.”
Ice cream lovers will dig into cleaner, more delicious versions of their favorites as a result of using organic ingredients – including milk and cream from cows not treated with the artificial growth hormone rBST or antibiotics – and leaving out artificial ingredients. The scoop on the three new flavors:
Alden’s Organic delivers a taste of nostalgia in every bite by avoiding artificial ingredients found in conventional brands – everything from carrageenan, palm oil, mono and diglycerides, to Red #40. In addition, Alden’s Organic ice creams are always USDA certified organic, non-GMO, free of high-fructose corn syrup and made with organic milk and cream from cows humanely raised with access to green pastures, fresh air, sunshine and shade.
New flavors from Alden’s Organic will be available in 1.5 quart cartons in natural food stores and conventional grocers nationwide beginning in February 2018. Pricing ranges between $6.99 and $7.99.
