easily access your TCP/IP and SNA hosts.
By dialing a local or 800 number, a user connects through the IBM Global Network to multiple IP applications on multiple LANs and to multiple legacy SNA applications concurrently as if they were locally attached. Providing high-speed dial access, IVANS TCP/IP Dial Service supports Serial Line Internet Protocol (SLIP), Compressed-SLIP (C-SLIP) and Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP). With this one dial connection, a user may connect to multiple IP applications on multiple LANs and to multiple SNA applications concurrently.
