Antioxidants, Weighting Agents and Antimicrobial Compounds

SAIB-FG (sucrose acetate isobutyrate-food grade) was developed for use in oil-based citrus beverages as a flavor emulsion stabilizer or clouding agent. The addition of SAIB created a more consistent and stable product, preventing the separation common in drinks flavored with citrus oils. It can be used with virtually any flavor beverage and imparts no off flavors to the drink.

Tenox food-grade antioxidants effectively inhibit oxidation in all kinds of food products, preventing the development of rancid odors, off flavors, color changes and the loss of valuable fat-soluble nutrients such as vitamin E.
