Byron A. Carlson, Inc. is a specialized industrial food and cosmetic ingredient brokerage firm based in Hartsdale, New York. We began in 1925 as a supplier of frozen fruits and berries to the preserve, ice cream, and bakery industries. Since then, we have widened our ingredient product line to include other natural products such as fruit juice concentrate, puree, dried fruit and fruit powders, tropicals, nuts, maple products, jojoba, macadamia, and sunflower oils, and specialty industrial food ingredients.

Byron A. Carlson, Inc. represents select suppliers of food and cosmetic ingredients in our territory, which includes New England, Upstate New York, Connecticut, New York Metro, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Baltimore, Maryland. Ten years ago, we established B. A. Carlson Trading Corporation, which supplements our domestic ingredient supply by sourcing ingredients internationally. Carlson Trading sources and sells product both nationally and internationally.

Our success is based on our strategy of making regular contact with Research and Development departments and following the project through to completion with Purchasing.
