Citrus and Allied Essences, Ltd. was founded in New York in 1933, and is today among the last family owned and managed companies remaining in the flavor and fragrance ingredient business. From very humble beginnings, we have grown steadily to become one of North America's leading quality manufacturers and suppliers. During the past 65 years of operation, we have extended our product line to include essential oils of all types, oleoresins, and aromamatic chemicals, both natural and synthetic.

Our administrative headquarters is located in Lake Success, New York, with production, warehousing, and laboratory facilities in nearby Floral Park. The manufacturing facility situated in Belcamp, Maryland, complete with comprehensive product development and quality control laboratories, is responsible for producing many of the specialty products for which our company is best known. Sales, warehousing, and customer service points in the United States are strategically located in New York, Chicago and California. In 1995, a permanent sales office was established in the Ottawa area to better serve Canadian customers. Global marketing interests in recent years have been developed in Western Europe, South America, Mexico, and the Far East through a network of representatives.
