Just add water and whisk to blend. The sauces reconstitute to serving consistency immediately, and will hold on stovetop or steam table for hours. Sauces can also be frozen for later finished prep if desired. The rich red color with flecks of spices and herbs looks - and tastes - as if it has been cooking all day.
Serve the meatless Marinara Sauce as is, over pasta, or add your own meat balls or sausage. The thick, tangy-sweet sauce is also the perfect accompaniment to calzones, fried mozzarella sticks and pizza bread and many more delectable food items.
