Encapsulated Spice Extracts and Oils
The encapsulation process used in the extracts provides a protective coating to stabilize the spice flavor and aroma for extended periods of storage. At the same time, the direct incorporation of the spice extract or oil into a carefully selected inert carrier system facilitates rapid and complete release of the flavor into the finished product.
The extracts are free of microbial contamination and pathogen loads. They are easy to dose and incorporate into product formulations as after-blends or at varying stages of the manufacturing process with high flavor retention.
With full standardization of active ingredients, the extracts can guarantee consistent flavor results in successive batches. These extracts are easy to use in water-dispersible systems and can be adapted to a wide range of culinary and flavor applications.
The extracts are heat-stable and have a shelf life of 12 months under standard storage conditions.
