FlavorMax Technology
KFI's latest innovation is FlavorMax technology. This new proprietary technology allows a food processor to control the four most crucial factors in successful production: quality, price, flavor, and functionality. Kraft's FlavorMax technology is used to develop a cheese concentrate that can be delivered in a refrigerated or shelf-stable dry form. These cheese concentrates can be added at a low use level to improve the cheese flavor impact of an existing cheese sauce. The intense flavor impact of the FlavorMax technology can deliver more cheese flavor for less total cheese cost in a sauce application.
Most cheese applications are in the form of a cheese sauce. In fact, most Cheddar or American cheese used by U.S. food processors are used to make cheese sauce. Cheese sauce applications include fillings, soups, sauces, dips, sandwiches and spreads. With so much growth in this area, KFI is often called upon by its customers to help develop ways of improving an existing cheese sauce or to create a new application.
