All critical components in the processing and delivery of the products are strictly monitored and controlled according to HACCP programs, to assure quality and safety. Frozen banana products are gently heated and held to ensure product safety.

The Organic Story
Gerber provides organic banana products to satisfy the needs of health conscious consumers. Bananas are grown by farmers belonging to organic farming co-ops. Farmers maintain their organic farming through good land stewardship, by raising the micro-organisms in their soils to keep the land fertile. These farmers adhere to conventional organic farming practices. Banana plants are inspected, as well as the banana products processing plant, to ensure that Gerber banana products meet organic certification standards by Oregon Tilth Certified Organic in the United States and ECOCERT in Europe.

Texture, Color, Flavor and Aroma
Our Organic Aseptic Puree is typical of banana – pulpy, thick, and soft, and is a bright, creamy, white color, with natural banana flavor and aroma.
