In 1982 Golden Foods/Golden Brands was established as a local, privately owned edible oils processing plant in Louisville, Kentucky.

Over the years, many improvements have been made including the relocation of our facilities in 1986 to our current Seventh Street Road location (formerly the Seagram's Distillery), consolidating both Bulk & Package operations at one site. The relocation and consolidation of our facilities allows us to operate in a more efficient and cost effective manner. It also greatly increased our warehouse capacity and allows us to provide maximum flexibility. Included in our facility is a 63,000 square foot warehouse that is fully racked and equipped with seven temperature-controlled rooms (four-45 degree, two-55 degree, and one-65 degree room). Our plant is easily accessible from the three interstate highways passing through Louisville (I-64, I-65, and I-71). Additionally, our plant has access to the Paducah & Louisville railroad spur contiguous to our site.
