Kemin Industries Will Support Its Global Facilities With Enterprise Solution

Schaumburg, IL - Intentia, the global enterprise solutions provider for the manufacturing, distribution and maintenance industries, announced that Kemin Industries Inc. is now live with its Intentia Food and Beverage implementation at six U.S. operations and another in the company's facility in India.

Kemin, a leading nutritional ingredient manufacturer, will later ramp up the Intentia solution at its manufacturing sites in Brazil, China, Belgium and Singapore. The result will be a collaborative enterprise application system serving all of the company's global operations.

Kemin selected Intentia technology to consolidate information, enhance collaboration and improve visibility across all of the firm's manufacturing, distribution, R&D and customer service operations worldwide. The new Intentia solution replaces a variety of custom and packaged Enterprise Resource Planning applications previously used by various Kemin operations.

Heiderscheit says the Intentia Food and Beverage Solution now allows the company, consisting of 13 business units, to easily share information and to become more efficient at both operational and manufacturing levels.
