Founded in 1914, Karp's has been an innovative leader in the production and distribution of quality bakery products and supplies for the bakery, foodservice, supermarket and dairy industries.

We began as a Chicago distributor of ingredients for the bakery and confectionery industries. Today, we are a full line manufacturer and distributor of bakery ingredients, products, and supplies. Under family ownership for over 85 years, a substantial change occurred January 31, 1997 when Karp's became a division of the CSM company. This Dutch food group is a publicly traded food company located in Amsterdam, Holland. Under the new leadership and as a part of the CSM Bakery Ingredients Division, Karp's is continuing in business with strong financial backing and a continued commitment to a growing array of products and services. This affiliation is enabling us to service our customers even better than we have in the past.
