Pine Nuts are for everyone, People, Birds, Squirrels, Hamsters, Whoever. The shelled pine nuts are a great addition to any recipe and the non shelled type are great for you or your pet. The Russian type are a great treat for your parrot or hamster.

The Nevada soft shell and the New Mexico/Arizona hard shell Pine nuts (pinenuts, pignolias) are a local seasonal nut
that are harvested in the fall. We only have these during the fall (if there are any, there weren't any last year).
