METTLER TOLEDO Co-Hosts Webinar With SQF On Food Safety Standards

Columbus, OH - METTLER TOLEDO, the leading global supplier of precision instruments and services, continues its partnership and support of the SQF Institute, leader in food safety and quality certification programs, by presenting a jointly sponsored webinar entitled ‘Meet Global Food Safety Standards and Increase Productivity'.

Informative Webinar on Food Safety Standards
Consumer food safety concerns and broadening regulatory requirements highlight issues which increasingly bring the food industry to the media's attention. The introduction of standards such as SQF2000, ISO 22000, IFS and BRC require food companies in the United States and throughout the world to make their manufacturing processes transparent and as safe as possible. SQF Institute Technical Director Gary M. Smith will highlight the SQF Program including company registrations, training, certification and audit processes, and accreditation. You'll also hear from METTLER TOLEDO food segment market managers and learn how METTLER TOLEDO can support you in the areas of traceability, hygienically designed equipment, quality data management, foreign body detection, and equipment qualification and calibration. Following the forty-five minute presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask the SQF and METTLER TOLEDO representatives your questions and seek additional resource assistance.

The webinar will be presented on May 18, 2010 at 11:00 am Eastern DST, and will be hosted by Gary M. Smith, Technical Director SQF Institute, and Eric J. Schmitt, Market Manager, METTLER TOLEDO.
