Truck/Tray Dryers are batch units consisting of either 2, 4, or 12 trucks which hold 38 trays per truck. The trucks are wheeled into a drying chamber where uniform airflow passes horizontally across a perforated plenum and through the trucks before it is recirculated. The truck dryers allow processors to handle a wide range of products at varying capacities.
Due to its simple design and minimum moving parts, National's Truck/Tray dryer is easy to clean and simple to operate. As with any National dryer, it is available with a variety of heat sources including gas, steam or electric, and our standard 100 mm thick insulated panels for energy efficient operation.
