Nature Sweet Inc. introduces PurHan Lo Han fruit extract
Nature Sweet Inc., Largo, FL, announces the launch of PurHan™, the most recent addition to Nature Sweet's line of natural high-intensity fruit-based sweeteners. PurHan consists of pure Lo Han Kuo Fruit Extract, with a mogroside content exceeding 82%. PurHan is a 100% natural high-intensity sweeter, yielding a sweetness level 250-300 times sweeter than sucrose. PurHan's potent sweetness is derived from natural molecules in the Lo Han Kuo fruit called triterpene glycosides, which are super-sweet compounds that do not affect blood sugar or insulin levels. PurHan is the first sugar-free, 100% natural high-intensity sweetener that has a clean, sweet taste, with no aftertaste. These beneficial properties, coupled with PurHan's very low-glycemic index, make PurHan an ideal sweetening agent for carbonated/non-carbonated beverages, juice products, dairy-based drinks, and other liquid based products.

Sweet Balance can be formulated to be 5x-200x sweeter than sucrose. Depending on the level of sweetness used, the caloric value can range from 0-4 kcal per serving. InuSweet can be formulated to be 5x-200x sweeter than sucrose, with the caloric value ranging from 0-2 kcal per serving. InuSweet works excellent as a high-intensity sweetening agent in products such as powdered blends, ready-to-drink dairy/soy-based beverages, carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, and in a variety of food products. FOS is a natural dietary fiber derived from the roots of the Chicory plant. It promotes beneficial bacteria (probiotics) in the gut, as well as increasing the amount of soluble fiber in one's diet (since FOS is 90% soluble fiber). Since InuSweet is a sugar-free product and also possesses an extremely high fiber content from the FOS, it does not raise blood sugar or insulin levels.
