NorSun Food Groups Inc. was born from two great companies in the specialty potato industry when Northland Frozen Foods and Sun Glo of Idaho announced they were uniting to form a new company.

The newly formed NorSun allowed Northland Frozen Foods and Sun Glo of Idaho to serve current and future customer requirements with even greater expansion capabilities.

The Maine-based Northland Frozen Foods was already an industry innovator in red and roasted potatoes, while Sun Glo specialized in pre-baked frozen potatoes.

The formation of NorSun brought together the best of both worlds.
