Pillsbury Recalls Cookie Dough with Undeclared Walnuts

Pillsbury, Minneapolis, is recalling Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookies (a refrigerated dough product) in 18 oz packages that bear a specific production code because these packages may contain walnuts not declared on the package. Consumption of this product by people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts may result in a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered the Pillsbury Chocolate Chip with Walnuts Cookies had been mistakenly labeled as Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookies, which do not bear a walnut declaration. No illness has been reported to date.
