<%=company1%> and Quicornac have begun an aggressive advertising campaign to increase awareness and ultimately demand for passion fruit juice concentrate.

We'd like to make passion fruit to Valentine's Day what cranberries are to Thanksgiving and apples to apple pie says Bernhard Frei, General Manager of Quicornac.

ITI and QUICORNAC are jointly sponsoring a web site dedicated to passion fruit. The site can be found at www.passionfruitjuice.com

Our hope is that this web page will serve to educate the Food Industry about Passion Fruit Concentrate and be a forum for the exchange of information and ideas about the product as well, says Van Manen of ITI.

Passion Fruit Concentrate is a unique ingredient, which can be used in a wide variety of food and beverage products. Its colorful, flavorful, aromatic and refreshing tropical flavor makes it the ideal ingredient for a number of sophisticated food applications.

On this site you will find everything you ever wanted to know about Passion Fruit Concentrate. It tells you what it is (yes, it really is a fruit), how and where it is harvested, how it is processed, and details about the finished product.

In addition to this, ITI and Quicornac are initiating an aggressive advertising campaign with a series of ads appearing in leading food magazines for at least the next 12 months. The ad will focus on Passion fruit as "The Ultimate Tropical Ingredient" and will also invite people to explore www.Passsionfruitjuice.com site. Our goal is to expand the use of this unique ingredient says Frei. Passion fruit has an aromatic and refreshing tropical flavor makes it the ideal tropical ingredient for a wide variety of applications.

In conjunction with the newly formed EPPA (Ecuadorian Passion fruit Processor's Association) they are planning to fund research to learn more about nutritional and healthy phytochemicals in passion fruit.

Passion fruit among others is known to be high in vitamin and potassium. Aside from the healthy benefits we believe the passion fruit name is also a Marketing Manager's equivalent of a dream team, says van Manen and we want to explore this more in our marketing efforts. Next year, if we see a couple of new products around Valentine's Day using this concept we'll know we have.
