Siebe Renames Its Control Systems Division

Siebe plc has renamed its Control Systems Division as Siebe Intelligent Automation in recognition of the division's emergence as a leader in enterprise automation.

"The recent acquisitions of Wonderware, a prominent factory automation software company, Simulation Sciences, a leading process modeling and optimization software supplier, and Eurotherm, a major producer of recorders, instruments, gauges and drives, bring us important new products and services that make our division the only sensor-to-boardroom automation solutions provider," said Dr. George Sarney, Siebe Intelligent Automation's president and chief operating officer.
