Manufactured in accordance with Title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 184, 1979, and meets the USDA Grade Standard for US Extra Grade Sweet Whey Powder as outlined in Title 7, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 58.2605 and 58.2606.
This product is manufactured from cheese whey which is the resulted of coagulated milk using rennet. This rennet is produced via controlled fermentation of specially selected microorganisms that produce the enzyme chymoisine, which is responsible for milk coagulation. This rennet is Kosher certified and meets Food Chemical Codex standards.
A. TYPICAL ANALYSIS
PHYSICAL: Product shall have a uniform color, free flowing, free from lumps that do not break up under slight pressure, and is practically free from visible dark particles.
FLAVOR: Product shalll have a normal whey flavor free from undesirable flavors.
