Wholesome Pita Chips Get Taste Makeover From Natural Snack Kettle Foods

sdf

Salem, OR - Kettle Foods introduced snack option this fall with its KettleTM brand Bakes Pita Chips.

The company claims that, its made from organic wheat flour, Kettle™ brand Bakes Pita Chips start with authentic pita bread sprinkled with all-natural seasonings and toasted until crisp and golden brown. Made with just a kiss of healthy canola oil, the crispy chips contain no trans fats, and just 120 calories and 3.5 grams of fat per serving. The classic seasoning combination on these hearty chips can be enjoyed alone or with dips and spreads. Likewise, the Salt Kissed-flavored pita chips are the perfect complement to hummus or cheese spreads, adds the company.

According to Kettle, Kettle™ brand Bakes Pita Chips hit supermarket and natural food store shelves in 6-ounce bags this fall. Kettle Foods is working hard to make healthier snack options easier for consumers to find on store shelves. The new pita chips are the third product to be added to the expanding Kettle™ brand Bakes line over the past year. The line also includes baked potato chips and pretzel chips, with a fourth product to be announced in early 2007.
